In the land of minimal, textured power of space, "ultrasounded", "coded" message, journey inside of mind... The first release of Absys Records - "Behind The Corner" has introduced a few young and newcoming artists of drum'n'bass scene. One of them is Ukraine based producer Ultracode, current favourite of ours, who's coming back to Absys with brand new EP - "Keep Secret EP"
This time he hasn't disapointed our expectations. 4-tracks of experimental drum'n'bass thats the first whats coming into our mind. The fascination of dark ambient, electronica and minimal techno is finding self outlet here. The result is this such a fresh and modern sounding EP, which is hypnotising by the sphere combinated with such a explosive mixture of short, minimalistic percussive sounds. Then pulsated bass and from time to time turning up sounds straight from horror-movie creates incredible atmosphere. You can feel that the purpose of repetition is to put listeners into trans and to help them to get to another world. The world of Ultracode. Still progressing style of artist we can easly place somewhere between Photek and Instra:mental, which placing him in to the group of "new wave" producers. Also, we have to mention Radicall who made great engineering job. We are recommending this EP as interesting and definitely not last journey with music - dangerous, dark, trancey but also incredibly atmospherical.
